Volunteer Recruitment and Support Commitee

The primary purpose of the Centre for Christian Studies Volunteer Recruitment and Support Committee is to enable the mission of CCS through recruitment and support of volunteers who will carry out their ministries within the guidelines and structure of CCS.

Our duties include:

  • Consulting with the Central Council and the committees and recruiting with regard to their needs for new members.
  • Ensuring that new members receive adequate orientation to CCS and to the specific committee work.
  • Offering ongoing support and affirmation of our volunteers.
  • Developing and maintaining broad networks within the churches and the community.
We meet by phone periodically throughout the year, with increased frequency in November to January prior to the Annual General Meeting. The meetings take 1 ½ to 2 hours and are held on weekdays during regular office hours, the date for the next one being determined at the conclusion of the present meeting with regard to people's availability.

We are looking for enthusiastic people who support the mission of the Centre for Christian Studies and see an opportunity for ministry by serving on a committee that enables that mission.
