Tapestry Sub-Committee

The Tapestry Editorial Sub-Committee shall function as a sub committee of the Communication and Promotion Committee

Purpose:
To take collective responsibility for content, production and quality of Tapestry.

Responsibilities for Tapestry:

• develop long range plan
• oversee the design and layout
• solicit articles, photographs and graphics
• ensure the diversity of CCS community is reflected in articles and authors
• edit and proofread copy o ensure layout and printing contracts are in place
• ensure the distribution (including electronic)
• evaluate design, layout, content and distribution

Membership:

• Editor
• 2 members
• Staff: Development and Communication Administrator

Relationship with Staff:
The Development and Communication Administrator will be a full member of this sub-committee.

Accountability:
Report to Communication and Promotion Committee

Meetings:

• the committee will meet 6-8 times a year and will undertake work between meetings
• the committee shall meet by telephone

Terms of Appointment:
Two years, renewable twice
