Educational Ministry Program

How do we hold our faith tradition and modern context together in our education and worship approach?
What approach to education will lead to committed faithfulness in children and youth?

Come, explore these questions and more in the CCS one-year certificate program in Educational Ministry! An excellent opportunity for both youth leaders and adult educators

Program Components:
  • Leadership Development Module (LDM) - a 2-week intensive learning circle held every June or August
  • Two 2-week Learning Circles (LC) - become both co-learner and co-leader as you work together with student and staff colleagues
  • Field Education - an 8-month placement for hands-on learning experience
  • One Elective Course - from any of the 25 universities in Canada with whom CCS partners

Learning Circle dates for the next Educational Ministry year:

Fall Learning Circle October 14 - October 28, 2010
Spring Learning Circle March 31 - April 14, 2011

The Educational Ministry Year will be offered again in 2012 (it is offered every 3 years).

I learned that I don't need to have all the answers. Searching together and empowering others to use their gifts leads to a mutuality of ministry which in enriching for all.
