Tuition

We'd do this for free if we could, but sadly that's not possible. The CCS Finance Committee sets the tuition rates for each year to ensure that CCS can continue to provide quality theological education.

CCS has a number of bursaries available for students who are in financial need. The "Student 2 Student Handbook" (created by CCS students) also has suggestions for sources of funding.

These are the fees for 2011-2012...

Application Fees

LDM application (non-refundable)	$55.00
Diploma/Certificate Program application (non-refundable)	$95.00
Both LDM + Diploma/Certificate (non-refundable)	$150.00

Leadership Development Module *

LDM tuition	$1200.00
LDM reading fees	$100.00
Total Cost for the LDM	$1300.00

The LDM can be taken for credit from the University of Winnipeg or St. Stephen's College. Click here for more info...

The LDM can be audited, with the permission of Program Staff. The auditing fee for the LDM is the same as for-credit.

Diploma/Certificate Year *

Diploma/Certificate reading fees	$650.00

Learning Circles can be taken for credit as part of a joint degree program with the University of Winnipeg or St. Stephen's College. Click here for more info...

Theme Year Learning Circles can be audited, with the permission of Program Staff. The auditing fee for a Theme Year Learning Circle is equivalent to the tuition for the LDM.

Reflection Year

Reflection Year tuition - basic	$250.00
Reflection Year tuition - enhanced	$500.00
Total Cost for Year	$250.00 or 500.00

The "basic" Reflection Year rate is for students who require a minimum amount of staff support (eg. approval of learning plan, approval of external courses, check-in). The "enhanced" rate is for students who require more staff support (eg. marking of outstanding assignments, ongoing consultation, etc.)

Other Costs

Transcript request Administrative cost to process transcripts for former students (payable to CCS)	$15.00
Retaining fee Administrative cost for Inactive Students wishing to keep their records open (payable to CCS)	$100.00

Travel costs - Theme Year Students are responsible for their own travel arrangements. The CCS student body operates a travel pool. (See Resources for Students for more info.)	~ $400 - $500 (plus or minus travel pool contribution)
External Courses Students are responsible for their own external course fees.	Variable
