Cross-Listing and Joint Degrees

Many of CCS's courses are cross-listed with the University of Winnipeg Faculty of Theology and can be taken for U of W credit. Note: The CCS Leadership Development Module is pre-requisite for all other CCS Learning Circles.

Students wishing to earn UofW or St. Stephen's College credit for CCS course should apply to both CCS and the other institution, indicating your desire to take the course as a cross-listed course.

Students can also apply for a joint-degree between the University of Winnipeg Faculty of Theology and CCS, or between St. Stephen's College and CCS.

Cost of Cross-listed Courses

The overall cost of taking a cross-listed course is roughly 20 percent higher than if you were just taking it for CCS credit, depending on the current tuition rates between the two institutions.

If you are taking a course for credit from St. Stephen's College you will pay your tution to them. (And they will forward a portion to CCS.)

If you are taking a course for credit from the University of Winnipeg Faculty of Theology you will pay a portion of your tuition to the UofW and a portion to CCS.

The math gets a little complicated sometimes, so let us know well ahead of time so we can figure out how much you owe and to whom.
