Our Volunteers
CCS has a network of over 300 volunteers who live from Vancouver Island to Newfoundland. They offer their skills in the area of governance and committee work, as mentors or learning facilitators for our students, as local liaisons who nurture our network, library volunteers, and countless other roles.CCS volunteers come from many areas of the church and society - they include diaconal ministers, ordained ministers, priests, lay people in congregations and parishes, and leaders in community and social organizations.

Approximately 25% of our volunteers are graduates of our school. We estimate that each year CCS relies on more than 4000 hours of volunteer time. That equals over 2 full time staff positions!
